Emergency Preparedness Workgroup

3rd Thursdays of every month

The NCCHCA Emergency Preparedness workgroup meets (at minimum) quarterly, and more as needed. Those CHC staffers whose roles include emergency preparedness and response are welcome to attend, as are any interested members of staff or leadership. Meetings involve discussions of the CMS Emergency Preparedness Rule, how to get and stay connected to a CHC’s Trauma Region Advisory Committee, and trainings offered by partners like Direct Relief, Americares, and the state emergency management leaders.
