Training and Technical Assistance

 

Technical assistance through training and resources are provided that strengthen the capacity of North Carolina Migrant and Community Health Centers to deliver comprehensive and culturally appropriate health care services to Latino and farmworker patients.

 

NC Farmworker Health Library

The NC Farmworker Health Library is a collection of available literature on topics relating to farmworker health. Materials include health education pamphlets, books, videos, manuals, research papers (published and unpublished), and national and state resources. The library is intended to support individuals or organizations that are helping to improve the health of farmworkers and their families. Individuals interested in reviewing or borrowing materials may visit the library at the NCCHCA office. All visits are by appointment only.  

 

Mid-Atlantic States Farmworker Health Listserv

Join an active listserv moderated by NCCHCA’s Migrant Health Coordinator that links migrant health providers to farmworker-specific resources, grant opportunities and upcoming trainings throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The listserv provides an opportunity for migrant health professionals to interact and stay connected along the East Coast stream.
