NCCHCA's Clinical Department
The Clinical Department focuses on serving the needs of Community Health Center clinicians in all areas of care, including dental, mental health, pharmacy and others. Clinical workgroups were formed to provide training and technical assistance, educational opportunities and to facilitate communication among all clinicians who actively engage in quality health care services to low-income, uninsured, and underserved residents of our state.
NCCHCA fosters a community partnership of knowledgeable professionals by providing many face-to-face opportunities for Community Health Center staff to stay connected, share or develop practices to meet the needs of North Carolina’s underserved populations. Each clinical workgroup has a distinct purpose. Information about the function of each group, meetings and resources can be found below.

TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Health Disparities Collaboratives (HDC) support
CPR:
CPR is a $40 fee per person for service offering. To schedule, contact Marti Wolf at (919) 655-0199 or wolfm@ncchca.org.
Training is provided according to the American Heart Association curriculum, BLS for Healthcare Providers.
OSHA Training
OSHA training is one of the annual mandatory trainings for people in clinical work areas. Click here to download a fully narrated powerpoint presentation that addresses all of the basic components. For additional assistance, contact Marti Wolf.
